Low-rise apartments have a higher risk of criminal victimization than other types housing. This study aimed to gain insight promote crime-proof low-rise rental through questionnaire surveys residents both certified “security apartments” and general apartments. General apartment who valued site lighting emergency alarm systems were likely recognize the economic value certification. Residents security less fearful in their units more greet same building neighborhood. Finally, we suggested need provide information increase residents’ awareness them choose again.
